Day 211 of my Bucket List Photo Challenge!

As you may or may not know, I had the distinct pleasure of living in Hawaii for three years, on the beautiful island of Maui. A question I get quite often is, “don’t you miss it?”

Well, yes and no. Have you ever lived on an island? I can attest that “island fever” is a very real thing. You can only drive so far. Believe it or not, you can only go to the beach so many times. And you are very, very disconnected from the rest of the world… some may even call it “The Real World.”

Maui is a beautiful place to visit… but it takes a special person to live there year-round. Besides, you can find insanely beautiful places all around you, wherever you are. Even in Lake Erie, where this photo was taken.

Let’s call this photo INSANELY and knock that word off the list!

Bucket List Photo Challenge: Day 210.

Day 210 of my Bucket List Photo Challenge!

The word today is crackle. And I’m going to use it to describe five photos from a mini-photo-shoot that I did with my friends Terri and Scott during our cabin-camping trip to Put-in-Bay, Ohio.

In the photos, you’ll see that they opened up a gift box, which contained their ultrasound photo and a pair of pink baby shoes…. yep, it’s a girl!

A3

Crackle with delight.

A7

Crackle with creativity.
