Bucket List Photo Challenge: Day 117.

Day 117 of my Bucket List Photo Challenge!

Hey, readers! On April 28th, I went on a 2-week “off the net” writing retreat to get a jumpstart on a new book. So, I wasn’t able to post photos to my Bucket List Challenge. While my challenge is important to me, the writing process for my upcoming projects takes precedence. Although I didn’t post photos, I took a lot of new ones and compiled two weeks worth of posts to play “catch-up.” Posts from April 28th through May 10th were all posted on May 10th with a back-date!

Last night, I had the opportunity to participate in a real charity event! In my hometown of Toledo, there is an organization called Children’s Theatre Workshop. They were holding an event called “Cupcake Showdown” which was a benefit for their summertime theatre camps. Well, being that my newest book is Casey and Callie Cupcake, I just had to volunteer to help out!

I read the story at the event… which is so hard to do when the room is filled with adults, too! And then all book proceeds went to the organization. All in all, I had a great time helping out!

We’ll call this photo CHARITY and mark it off the list!
