Day 73 of my Bucket List Photo Challenge!
I felt downright lucky today!
As you know, we visit schools to read our books on a nearly daily basis. These visits are complimentary and kids enjoy learning about the writing and illustration process— and also have some fun while learning the lesson behind our books!
Today, we traveled to Michener Elementary School in Adrian, Michigan. After reading to students in Kindergarten through 4th grade, the March is Reading Month committee presented Joe and I with a gift basket full of goodies… and a plate of cookies for each of us.
This gesture made me feel so downright great! We enjoy coming to schools and we do know that teachers, students and parents appreciate it… so we are happy just to be invited. But when something like this happens, as well…. it just makes me realize that I’m lucky to be able to do what we do.
Oh! And today was the last day that we were able to read students Casey and Callie Cupcake as a SPECIAL, SURPRISE, SECRET because tomorrow EVERYONE can get it on Amazon.com! I really appreciate those readers that are planning to support us tomorrow— you can directly help us hit some #1 positions on Amazon!
We’ll call this one LUCKY and knock it off the list!
Here is the complete list for the month of March:
Lucky Ugly Duckling Hat Role Model
Plastered Spring Break Smoke
