Bucket List Photo Challenge: Day 3.

Day 3 of my Bucket List Photo Challenge!

photo-2

I wanted to do something unique for “Fresh Start” and when I think of fresh, I think of food. Food made fresh. Fresh vegetables. Fresh meat. Freshly cooked. I don’t typically hit up chain restaurants… I like to try locally-owned, family-run establishments whenever possible. And a new favorite Mexican restaurant has emerged here over the past year or so: OK Patron Fajita Bar! And they have a specialty which I had not seen or tried until tonight: The Don Charly. This pineapple is hollowed out and served on your plate, brimming with shrimp, cheese, sauce, beans and pineapple. Holy yum. When I saw this dish arrive at our table, I knew that I had seen a “Fresh Start”.

You can see my list of words and phrases for January below… we’ll caption the above photo FRESH START and scratch that item off the list.
